Welcome to the family tree section of Wilds Of Sipson. Here you will find over 1,200 ancestors of the Wild family dating back 500 years or so. I am probably now responsible the majority of this collection but it has not always been that way. Other family members laid the foundations and have continued to supply information and support. There have been other individuals from outside of the family who have responded to requests for information with generosity. Please visit the acknowledgements page where I have tried to thank all those who have helped.

I have been using Legacy's^® `create web pages` facility to display the individuals and families on this site but I confess I was never overly impressed with the results. During my web research I have come across various family web sites and was impressed by one on Tribal Pages which displayed the information in a more traditional tree style. When I showed my son, Thomas, he took himself off into a corner with his laptop and a Gedcom file and came back and said "what do you think of this?" I was, as they say, well impressed. I have been using this alongside the Legacy^® pages but Thomas has continued to improve his display program and it is now able to show virtually all the information contained in my file so I have decided to use it exclusively to display the tree. My apologies to anyone who has book marked a Family Page. The Family Pages will remain on the site for the time being but will no longer be updated.
