January 2008 - Web site first created

June 2008 - Page design changed and coordinated, navigation bar added

July 2008 - Family tree section changed from pedigree layout to family layout. Backgrounds and text changed for continuity throughout site.

July 2008 - New tree style added as an alternative view. Display program written by my son Thomas.

August 2008 - New drop-down navigation bar added. Tree style view improved giving greater access to notes, sources, events etc. More relations 'found'. Descendants of John Andrews Jones added.

November 2008 - More relations 'found' and added. Some errors corrected and source citations confirmed and 'tightened'. Date formatting changed to preserve Legacy^® age calculation function. (Pity it doesn't show on the web site!).
Tree style view further updated. Better display of events and notes. Picture viewing facility added.

December 2008 - Yet more relations added, this time to the Harris family. More inter-marrying found too. In 1887 George Harris married Joanna Wild, one of his brothers and a sister married a sister and a brother of the Gregory family. Another sister of the same Gregory family had, in turn married Joanna's 1st cousin once removed. Oh what a tangled web we Wilds wove! It also turns out that Rowland Robbins (the business partner of Thomas Wild IV my Great great grandfather and brother of Joanna Wild) married twice and on both occasions to a niece of George Harris, Joanna's husband.

January 2009 - The parents and siblings of James Reed who married Elizabeth Wild and immigrated to New Zealand added. Also more family of the Newlands, ancestors of my grandmother.

May 2009 - Decision made to `drop` the Legacy^® family pages in favour of the tree style display program. Family pages to remain but no longer be up-dated.

More of the family of Charles and Annetta Harris documented - more of the 50+ grandchildren!

July 2009 - Gedcom file up-dated - TWICE! British quarterly date format discovered!

August 2009 - Error corrected! Elizabeth Weekly Domoney had been married off to wrong person. Thanks to my cousin Susan Wallace for pointing this out.

September 2009 - Gedcom file updated. Found Ancestry.com available in the library! Information on the Reeds who immigrated to the USA validated and sources confirmed. Various other families extended.

Full overhaul of web site look with new page designs used. My OH described it as a change from a school project to a more professional look! - flattery will get you no where!!

October 2009 - Additions to the American relatives, the Day and Reed families and a new American connection, the Starnes family.

February 2010 - Christmas and computer problems cause hiccup in research. Thankfully back ups etc ensure no information is lost.

Gedcom file updated.

London Metropolitan Archive information on Ancestry breaks down some brick walls and solves some puzzles.

More of my father-in-law's Lake family found. It seems that his great grandfather `changed his name`. Difficult to prove but it seems he was born Mark Lake and was known as Charles with variations of Charles Arthur and Charles Arthur Mark.

Locations, particularly London locations, made more accurate and ratified.

April 2010 - Creeping back up the generations on my mother's side of the family. Contact made with more American relations of the Reed family.

July 2010 - Research started on my wife's Welsh ancestors
